The Bürgenstock is situated high up above Lake Lucerne. A first-rate hotel estate is located on its crest as well as the 9-hole golf course (length 2,098 m, par 33), reached by a ten minute walk. The former German chancellor Konrad Adenauer described it as the ‘most beautiful walk on earth’. Situated in a fairy-tale forest where fables are still credible, the course surprises with varying views of the outstanding Pilatus, the bulky Stanserhorn and the Urn Alps.
